About Us
Founded in 1954, The Club at Smallwood is a pool/social/community club conveniently located in the scenic Catskill Mountains, less than 2 hours from New York City in Bethel, NY. Nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Smallwood, our Club offers fun, activities, friendships, entertainment and so much more for the entire family.
We have a full calendar of morning, afternoon, and evening activities included in membership.

Activities at our Clubhouse:
Saturday night entertainment: music, dancing, bingo
Weekly painting class, book club, chair-yoga, water aerobics
Card games, canasta and mahjongg lessons
Movies each week, lending library, guest lecturers, dance lessons, wellness discussions
Children’s activities
Activities at our Sports Complex:
Bocce ball, pickle ball, handball, paddleball, cornhole, basketball, volleyball, ping pong
Children’s playground and kiddie pool
But in addition to our jewel of a pool, the most important thing we have to offer is the lasting friendships you will make at The Club. We are a volunteer-run club so between participating in the many activities and volunteering your service in areas of interest, you will meet our wonderful community of people.
